Storytelling for Effective Job Search (Diverse by Cultures, United by Stories)
Join us for a heartwarming online storytelling session to brighten up your winter evenings and learn the power of storytelling in finding a job in Canada.
Through storytelling with multicultural flavours, we aim to equip you with additional job search strategies that will:
• Increase your credibility and visibility (January 2)
• Make your profile more attractive to employers (January 16)
• Increase your chances to pass the job interview (January 30).
This session has a job search-related theme, and begins with reading a story or excerpt from a relevant book.
Followed by opportunities to discuss what you learned, and practice the storytelling strategies in small group settings.
Join this FREE session to learn how to connect across cultures and backgrounds, to warm our hearts during the winter months.
This program is organized by the Immigrant Writers Association (IWA) / Association des écrivains immigrants (AEI) and is funded by the Government of Canada.
