🚀 At Forum VC and TALEA, we recognize the lack of resources and guidance available to women founders. Our shared goal is to bridge this gap and provide a platform for aspiring women entrepreneurs to thrive.

🍻 We're bringing together a truly power-house panel, featuring:

  • Kait Stephens, CEO & Co-Founder of Brij, a software platform that helps brands connect the offline and online, starting with QR codes. She is the host of the Omnichannel Marketer, a podcast that explores how brands provide seamless customer experience across channels. Kait is also an angel investor in consumer products and female-founded businesses.

  • Sarah Nesheim is the Co-Founder of Crafted, a software solution that automates social proof through large-scale video campaigns for food & beverage brands. With deep professional services sales experience and background as a former food content creator, Sarah has combined her passion and expertise to build a vetted network of 10k vetted food and lifestyle creators globally, and onboard brands like Jack Daniel's, Cinnabon, and Trader Joe's to Crafted.

  • Cheraé Robinson is an entrepreneur, explorer, DJ, cultural-architect, podcaster, and community-builder currently serving as Head of Community at Flybridge an early-stage venture fund. Prior to Flybridge she was Founder and CEO at Tastemakers Africa, a platform connecting curious travelers to authentic experiences in African cities. Named one of "50 People Changing The Way We Travel" by Conde Naste Traveler. She is co-host of "It Just Got Real", a podcast for unconventional, creative, women entrepreneurs, sits on the board of Birthright Africa, regularly writes on food and cocktail happenings in NYC, and continues to be a bride-builder to the African continent. Her vision is global connectivity as a pathway to living our best lives.

  • Sunita Rao's career spans from the international development ecosystem to venture capital - with the throughline centered on supporting founders and their companies. She is currently Vice President, Platform and Partnerships at Citi Ventures – focused on portfolio support and growth, cultivating the founder community, and ecosystem partnerships. Prior to Citi, she was a part of the founding team at Digital Currency Group's wealth and life management subsidiary focused on servicing founders, HQ Digital. Sunita started her career at the United Nations Foundation, focused on global investments and grants for first-time female founders - specifically within Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

  • Stephanie Berlin is the Founder & CEO of Wandel, a Brooklyn based mandel bread company, launched in 2021. Different from traditional twice-baked mandel bread, Wandel is baked only once-- softer than biscotti and more bountiful than a cookie. Prior to Wandel, Stephanie worked in the film industry as a PR executive, where she strived to tell authentic stories and build meaningful connections.  At Wandel, Stephanie continues to build on her passion for people as she brings them together over her nostalgic sweet treat.

About TALEA

On a mission to disrupt the male-dominated craft beer industry, TALEA founders LeAnn Darland and Tara Hankinson were both avid homebrewers with MBAs who met after leaving their corporate jobs in tech and media to join the beer industry. Together they created TALEA Beer Co., the only exclusively woman-owned and woman-founded production brewery and taproom in NYC. Founded in 2019, TALEA is a culmination of their love for craft beer and their passion to create an approachable, inclusive beer company. TALEA aims to create easy-drinking staples that you can comfortably share with your hard-seltzer and wine-drinking friends or open with the most discerning beer connoisseur. The bright and airy cafe by day and taproom by night boasts beer flights, beer cocktails, coffee, pastries, wine, guided tastings and tours, and light bites. TALEA’s flagship brewery and taproom is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Their second taproom opened in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn in June 2022. Two new taprooms will open in West Village and Bryant Park in Manhattan in Fall 2023. Visit taleabeer.com.
