🌱 Climate DC Volunteering: Community Garden

​We are excited to invite you to a fun volunteer opportunity that promises to make an impact.
​We are collaborating with City Blossoms to help upkeep and improve the Girard Children's Garden, which serves as a space for free Open Time programming, service-learning opportunities, community celebrations, and so much more!
​Make sure you bring water, sunscreen, appropriate outdoor attire (including closed-toe shoes, and be ready to get your hands dirty (but they do have gloves)!
​About our partner:
​City Blossoms is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering healthy communities by developing creative, kid-driven green spaces. They apply their unique brand of gardens, science, art, healthy living, and community building to "blossom" in neighborhoods where kids, their families, and neighbors might not otherwise have access to green spaces.
