Closing the Loop
In the 1960s, Andy Warhol blurred the lines between art and technology and Factory became the go-to place for creative minds from all walks of life. In the spirit of Warhol’s Factory, Factory Network invites innovators, creatives, visionaries and all those in between to explore a new paradigm where technology and art collide.
How do we move beyond the conventional mindset that treats technologists, artists, and entrepreneurs as mutually exclusive categories? If we embrace the overlaps and synergies between, what new forms, textures, shapes, and sounds might emerge from the cross-pollination of our work? How might these emerging creations reconfigure our understanding of reality and catalyze new dimensions of self-expression and problem-solving? What does circularity mean in this context, and how can it be reimagined in an anti-disciplinary, communal setting?
Inspired and moulded by these very questions, Closing The Loop will feature an exhibition curated for the occasion around the work of our Artist in Residence, Tim Maiwald joined in part by our community. Following the exhibition, we'll circle around for a discussion exploring the intersection between circular visions of the creative process and our mutual future, while critically examining the tendency to confine ideas and individuals to rigid categories with Elisa of zweihorn energy & Unlearn Business Lab, Evolena of faircado, Raphael of SIRPLUS & Tim of So Much (Trash) Studio.
An essential to seal the night, live tunes from DJ Salem & Montuno will accompany us throughout the evening as we sip the delicious natural wines from SIPS.
