Striide’s Women Safety App Testing Group
EVENT FOR WOMEN ONLY
Hi babes!!! Join us at the Burren for a drink on us 🥂to participate in a testing session for the NEW women’s safety app: “Striide”! Then, stay after for a fun Open Mic night at the Burren 🎤
This app is being developed by two Tufts university students to help women deal with the challenges of leaving the house. This is meant to be an informative session with testing and participation from you to improve the app. The goal is to create an app that marks what way is safe to walk home using a variety of live reporting factors, like a Waze app for Women! We need your help to improve the app to make sure it can be as effective and useful as possible! Please join us!
For more information, please contact Kassie Wilson, Boston Babes admin, at +1 (978) 302-4564 🥰
Additional Details:
Striide’s overall mission is to enable women to feel free to enjoy themselves by fostering a community where we look out for one another, while increasing the feeling of independence and confidence among individual Striiders. We want to host a meet up where people can try out what we have developed in the application so far, and give advice on additional features, improvements, or different ways to engage the community. We are an early stage start up trying to bring our ideas to life. This meet up is not for our monetary benefit, but rather a way to understand how we can best serve our users and make the world a better place. We would love if you would join us, look at the events page to find out more!
