About Principle Pilates
Principle Pilates is contemporary movement founded in traditional Pilates principles. During the athletic but nurturing method, you will feel opening, lengthening, and strengthening. Principle was founded by Maggie Mauck, a Richmond native, who has been practicing all types of movement, including Pilates, for over 10 years. Maggie draws inspiration from, and blends various techniques from her certifications, continuing education trainings, and her own personal practice and research. She has her YTT-200 hour certification from Charleston Power Yoga and was previously a Senior Coach at Solidcore in New York City for the past three years before moving to Richmond. Most recently, she has completed the STOTT Comprehensive Mat Pilates training here in Richmond. Maggie blends traditional Pilates and yoga movement with an athletic and challenging pace to create the contemporary method. She strongly believes in finding the balance between traditional practices and traditions and also trying new things and having some fun. She offers private reformer and mat classes at her home studio in Richmond, Virginia.
