About RCVC
Rotman Commerce Venture Capital (RCVC) was founded in 2024 to connect the University of Toronto and Rotman Commerce community with the Toronto startup ecosystem. The club hosts events to motivate students to launch startups and meet with VCs and founders.
About NEXT 36
NEXT 36 is a world-class founder and venture development acceleration network. Every year, we select a group of the most entrepreneurial undergrads and recent grads from coast-to-coast who we believe have what it takes to join Canada’s next generation of founders.
Whether you have a pre-existing early-stage startup that you want to take to the next level, or you have an idea that you want to turn into a reality, NEXT 36 can help.

Meet Our Alumni Speakers
Jai Mansukhani (Co-Founder of OpenSesame) - Jai graduated from the Computer Science program at UofT in 2024. During his time at UofT, he served as the Co-President of UofT AI and co-founded an edtech startup called Lumos. Despite Lumos successfully serving clients such as Canada's largest school board, it ultimately failed. Jai is now operating his second startup, OpenSesame, an AI company focused on reducing hallucinations in artificial intelligence.
Michael Yu (CEO of Quantoflow) - Michael graduated from Rotman Commerce in 2023 and has been building Quantoflow since, a compliance technology company that specializes in helping businesses meet regulatory requirements.
Registration
Rotman Commerce (RC) students can register through the RC Portal or Luma, and UofT (non-RC) students can only register via Luma. Please register with your UofT mail account for approval. You'll receive the event confirmation and details before the event.
