Indo-Pacific WSDC Open (External)

​It is with great pleasure that we extend our warm invitation to the upcoming Indo-Pacific World Schools Debate Open!

​This will be an open competition i.e. the tournament is open to both Institutional and Composite Teams.

​We would have a separate break category for U-16 and U-14 Teams.

Tournament Dates: 10th to 12th Jan 2025
Platform: Zoom and Discord
Timezone: UTC+8 (Hong Kong Time)
Format: WSDC: 8 minute Speeches, (3-5 Speakers per team)
Eligibility: Students who have not entered an university yet
Registration Fees: USD 25/ Participant
N=1 for judges (e.g., if you register for three teams, you need to bring three judges), USD 50 penalty for each missing judge
5 in-rounds (2 prepared, 2 impromptu); Break to Open quarterfinals / Novice, U16, and U14 finals
Speaker Categories: Open, U16 (< 16 years old), U14 (<14 years old) and Novice
