​We are excited to have Joel Hawksley, staff software engineer at GitHub, speaking remotely about The Past, Present, and Future of Ul at GitHub at our first Vancouver Ruby Meetup of the year!

​A reflection on five years of UI architecture at GitHub, focusing on three lessons: native is the new baseline, design systems are victims of their own success, and frontend costs 10x backend. Joel will be remote but will be taking questions from the audience and we expect a lively discussion.
