​Afore Capital is the world’s largest dedicated pre-seed fund investing in ultra early stage founders. We’ve backed a ton of founders from the Waterloo community (including Serena Ge @ Datacurve, Nain Abdi @ BoardRoom, Richard Zhou @ Omnial, Humza Ahmed @ Automax, and plenty more!) and we are super excited to learn more about what you’ve all been up to this year at the Symposium. :) 

​We’re actively recruiting for our next cohort of Founders in Residence, which is especially designed to support idea-stage founders as they work on turning their vision into a reality. Got an idea but haven't launched yet? Perfect! We invest in founders at the earliest stages – whether you're pre-revenue, building your MVP, or still brainstorming. If you're passionate about solving a problem, we want to hear from you.

​We'll share more about our firm, our summer FIR program, and give you the opportunity to meet some Afore-backed founders from the Waterloo community who can share more about how they gained the conviction to officially launch their first startup. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the team and get your questions answered. Breakfast will be provided to everyone who has registered beforehand.
