With a strong background in research and industry collaboration, Tommaso plays a key role in bridging innovation with real-world applications in quantum computing.

​Moderator Bio:
Sona Najafi is a distinguished Quantum AI Scientist renowned for developing scalable hybrid quantum-classical solutions for real-world applications. Her work bridges quantum many-body physics, quantum computing, and quantum machine learning. Prior to joining IBM, Sona held a prestigious joint associate fellowship at Harvard and Caltech, making significant contributions to advancements in quantum simulation, quantum generative and variational algorithms, and quantum neuromorphic computing. Recognized as a leader in her field, she received the Google Quantum AI Award in 2019 for her pioneering contributions to quantum technologies.
