About Event

For this special edition, Newfund is teaming up with France Digitale to bring you a hands-on conversation with founders who have launched — and re-launched — their U.S. strategies.

Whether you’re eyeing your first steps across the Atlantic or you are expanding for a second (or third) time, this session will help you understand whether you need to rethink your strategy to tackle US market today.

Guest speakers include :

The session will be animated by Marjolaine Catil, Investment Director at Newfund.

About Eliott Reilhac

Eliott Reilhac is a repeat entrepreneur. After selling his first startup to Nielsen, he is once again tackling U.S. expansion — this time with Formality.

Eliott previously co-founded and led the U.S. growth of TVTY, a marketing automation startup, in 2015, three years after its creation. The company was later acquired by Nielsen in 2021.

He is now the CEO and co-founder of Formality, an AI-powered SaaS platform for enterprise workflows launched in 2024. After waiting too long to expand internationally in his previous venture, Eliott is now taking a different approach: U.S. first.

Eliott will be joining this session just after returning from the Business France program in the U.S., and will share his latest insights on what has — or hasn’t — changed when it comes to approaching the U.S. market.

About Gabriel Hubert

A former Stripe executive and repeat entrepreneur with roots in Silicon Valley, Gabriel Hubert knows firsthand what it takes to launch and scale in the U.S. market.

Gabriel Hubert is the co-founder and CEO of Dust, a horizontal AI platform that enables teams to leverage generative AI by connecting it with internal company data.

Launched in 2023 with backing from Sequoia Capital, Dust is already powering operations in leading scale-ups like Doctolib, Alan, and Mirakl. But its ambition goes far beyond the French tech scene.

Already working with American companies like Watershed, Front, and Clay, Dust is betting on a product-led, horizontal approach to become a global player in enterprise AI — and the U.S. is at the heart of that journey.

Gabriel and his co-founder — a former OpenAI engineer — are building Dust with a clear vision: within two years, the majority of Dust’s revenue will come from the U.S.
