Foresight Salon with Naomi Brockwell: Digital Freedom & Privacy
Note: We'll have very limited capacity for this event and will reach out to confirmed attendees from the waitlist! Thanks for your interest.
Part of Foresight Institute's monthly salon series.
Join us for an evening with Naomi Brockwell, founder and president of the Ludlow Institute—a nonprofit research and media organization dedicated to advancing freedom through technology. Over a decade ago, Naomi launched Ludlow’s media arm, NBTV, which has since grown to over one million subscribers across multiple platforms and become a leader in the privacy space. NBTV focuses on educating people about how technology can empower individuals, rather than subject them to surveillance.
She will give a presentation on why privacy is the foundation of a prosperous society, and an overview of the incredible technology that already exists or is on the horizon that allows us to reclaim our digital lives.
After Naomi's opening remarks, we'll break out into smaller groups for focused discussions on:
Decentralized Technologies and Digital Freedom
Privacy-preserving AI Systems and Infrastructure
Media, Technology, and Public Understanding
Future of Digital Rights and Individual Autonomy
A topic of your choice
We'll reconvene for group report-outs, followed by networking time for deeper connections. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.
Thank you to Freedom House for hosting us!

Foresight Institute supports the beneficial development of high-impact technology to make great futures more likely. We focus on science and technology that is too early-stage, interdisciplinary, or ambitious for legacy institutions to support, such as biotech, neurotech, nanotech, space & computing.
