

Kaedim 24-Hour AI for Games Hackathon 2025
We are hosting this GDC-themed Hackathon to encourage hackers to build in the intersection of Art and Technology. Game development is the leading application of this intersection and you’ll get the chance to build AI-powered (or not) applications to accelerate the process of game development, including 3D content creation, animation, game engine tools.
We are inviting engineering students, grads, PhDs, and early professionals to join us to:
Build solutions that make an impact on the largest entertainment industry, worth more than the combined value of film, television, and music
Compete for best demos to win prizes
Collaborate & network with other hackers
👥 Who should join?
Hackers who are eager to explore solutions for game dev problems and build in the intersection of art x technology, collaborate, learn, and push creative boundaries.
Please note: to participate in the hackathon, you must be 18 years or older.
We will be reviewing applications on a daily basis and admitting people until we reach maximum capacity. Teams will have a maximum of 4 members.
💡 Tracks
3D Tools
Build tools that enhance and accelerate 3D content creation. You can address 3D modeling, texturing, or other even more niche steps of the pipeline like UVs and LODs.
Rigging/Animation Tools
Build tools that enhance and accelerate rigging and animation workflows.
Game dev tools
Build plugins or tools that can speed up/improve/innovate the game development process for major game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity.
