​19:00 - Mari Galicer  (Group Product Manager @Cloudflare) - How forward proxies are transforming Internet Privacy

​Many people know Cloudflare as a reverse proxy CDN, but how about our work as a privacy-preserving forward proxy? In this talk, you’ll hear about how the Privacy team has built a proxying platform that protects end user IP addresses and unwanted third party trackers from snooping on your Internet traffic; as well as the technical choices and open Internet standards – MASQUE and Oblivious HTTP, for example – that help us scale to billions of requests per day, powering infrastructure for customers like Apple, Microsoft, and Meta.
