Book Club

​We’re thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between Shine & Rise and Bonding Over Books! Together, we’ll host a quarterly book club where Shine & Rise members and friends can come together to discuss a chosen book, build connections, and share a mutual love of reading.

​First book choice: Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Pérez

​We ask everyone to read the book before the event; however, we totally understand life happens and invite you to still attend for connection and engaging conversation whether or not you have read the book!

​Conversations are guided by the Bonding Over Books conversation card game—created specifically for book clubs and bookworms. These cards are designed to spark meaningful discussions and deepen connections, while still keeping the focus on the book. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the game at a discounted price, participate in giveaways, win exclusive merchandise at the book club meeting.
