What does it take to build products that truly make a difference? Join us for an evening of insights and conversations on how product managers and designers at Open Government Products (OGP) create impactful solutions that shape public services in Singapore.
Our speakers will share their experiences in designing and building products that drive meaningful change - from open data platforms to government website solutions and emergency response tools.
💬 Speakers:
Foong Yi Zhuan is the product manager of data.gov.sg, where he's making Singapore's open data more discoverable, understandable and usable. Prior to Open Government Products, he led data analytics and engineering teams at startups in the US, building everything from data warehouses and ETL pipelines to data visualisations and ML models.
Park Se Hyun is a product designer on Isomer, a product that aims to make government websites in Singapore accessible, cheap, and easy to use. Throughout her career, Se Hyun has developed a love for tackling complex, somewhat “boring", and messy problems, where she thinks the value of design really shines.
Toby Gail is a Product Designer on Armoury, where she studies humans and processes to build solutions that power firefighters in their life-saving missions islandwide. She also buys too many new books, before she has finished her current ones.
