About Event

If you feel inspired by the visual journalism of the New York Times, winners of the Information is Beautiful awards or the wonderfully crafted graphics of great communicators like Mona Chalabi and Nadieh Bremer, join London’s community for coders, artists, analysts, journalists and designers searching for beauty and clarity in data.

This month we are in Farringdon, hosted by LexisNexis.

Arrive from 7pm

The main talk starts at 7.30pm

Miriam Quick - Data Sonification

Miriam is a journalist, author and musician. She goes far beyond traditional methods for communicating data, her work ranging from written articles to sculpture and sound. She is co-founder of the data sonification studio Loud Numbers and will speak about telling stories with sound and music.

A few lightning talks will follow including from Mafe Callejon of Flourish.

There will be plenty of time to chat too. We want you to come away enabled to bring more creativity next time you are working with data!
