In a slowing economy, three business imperatives are crucial:

·       Increase revenue and profitability

·       Reduce sales time and close deals faster

·       Navigate the current economic landscape with confidence

There are 2 ways of achieving this.

1.       Increase the lifetime value of existing client.

2.       Constantly bring in new customers.

Of the two, increasing lifetime value is by far the most profitable.  It costs time, money and energy to acquire a client, build a relationship and become a trusted partner.

Once you have that position, it’s 7 to 8 times easier (cheaper, faster, less effort) to keep selling into that account.

Your current and past clients also give you vital market intelligence as to where your “Real” value lies.  What they really want from you.  And it’s often not quite what you think.

However, clients inevitably leave.  Every business needs new blood.

But new prospects are often hesitant, taking longer to make decisions. They're often juggling multiple decision-makers within their organizations, creating more complexity and potential roadblocks.
