βAstro Health AI
βAstro Health is building Astro X - A highly intelligent integrated digital health platform powered by AI and advanced ML algorithms solving the most complex issues facing the US Health System today. For our AI research, we have also partnered with University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute, the number one AI research institute in the US.
βOur platform is being built to solve two biggest healthcare problems in the US today:
1) Workplace Stress and Mental Health Disorder prevention -
Workplace Stress costs the US employers $300 billion/year due to high turnover and absenteeism. On average, we see 1 million missed work days in the US every day due to Stress. Moreover, healthcare expenditures are 50% higher in employees with higher levels of stress.
2) Substance Use Disorder (SUD) & Mental Health Treatment Delivery Platform - 100,000 people die of fentanyl poisoning every year in the US making it a bigger healthcare issue than COVID. SUD and Mental Health Disorder are co-occuring in a large percentage of patients and there is a lack of access to prescribers and Medicaid eligible treatment in rural areas.
