MCP and Agents Hackathon w/ Featureform, Ridge Ventures, Smithery, and Martian

​​🚀 We’re taking over Ridge Ventures’ office again for another MCP and Agents Hackathon! Join Featureform, Ridge Ventures, Smithery.ai, and Martian on Saturday July 19th and Sunday July 20th for a weekend of building with MCP.

​​You’ll be building alongside other developers, researchers, and engineers, solving real problems using MCP. Whether you’re creating an MCP server, building an application on top, or experimenting with new ideas, this is your space to explore and ship!

​☕️During the event, we’ll keep you fueled with free drinks and caffeine, and we’ll serve lunch both days.

​The kick off will include panel discussions with investors and industry leaders, and will have a couple of talks throughout the weekend from some of the best minds in AI infrastructure. At the end of the weekend, you’ll demo your work in front of a panel of top engineers, founders, and experts..

​This is a great opportunity for those looking to meet like-minded hackers and mentors, and to experiment and create something cool with this new tech.

• ​11:00 AM Pitch Session

• ​11:30 AM Team Formation + Setup

  • ​Mingle, recruit teammates, claim tables, spin up repos, and double-check dev-env docs.

• ​​Saturday, 12:00 PM: Hacking starts!! Lunch provided

• ​​Saturday Afternoon: Expert talks and continued hacking

• ​​Saturday Evening: Optional evening hacking until 9:00 PM.

​​Where is the event located?

• ​​The event will take place at Ridge Ventures' downtown San Francisco, CA office. The exact location will be revealed once registered.

​​Who can participate in the AI Hackathon?

• ​​All Skill Levels are welcome!

​​How many people can be on a single team?

• ​​Up to 4 people can be on a single team.

​​Do I need a team to participate?

• ​​No. We will have team matching during the event itself, or you can come with a team or solo. Whatever works for you!

​​Can I start on my project before the hackathon?

• ​​You cannot work on a project you started before the hackathon. Ideation before the hackathon is allowed, but all implementation must occur during the hackathon.

​​Do I have to be in person?

• ​​This is not a virtual event. You'll need to check in on Saturday morning and be there for judging. You're welcome to leave and return during the day.
