For the second session of the SSS Growth Hub, we will delve into "Navigating Japan’s Investment Landscape: What VCs Look for in Startups." Join us for an insightful discussion with fellow founders, featuring a special guests as we explore key aspects of fundraising and what investors seek in startups.
Our special guests for this session are Masato Nakamura, Partner at PARTNERS FUND, a VC firm specializing in seed-stage investments, and Takayuki Inagawa, Chief Innovation Evangelist of the Product Marketing Division at NTT DOCOMO and former CEO of NTT DOCOMO Ventures.
The discussion will be moderated by Francisco Dalla Rosa Soares, the founder of Tokyo Startup Lunchclub, who will lead the conversation and facilitate an engaging discussion.

Moderator: Francisco Dalla Rosa Soares (Founder | Tokyo Startup Lunch Club)
Francisco Soares is the founder of Furious Green LLC, a company dedicated to supporting businesses in integrating AI solutions and fostering continuous innovation through employee training. He also established and manages the Tokyo Startup Lunchclub, a community of over 1,000 members that facilitates weekly gatherings for entrepreneurs, investors, and engineers at the Tokyo International Forum. These meetups provide a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration within Tokyo's vibrant startup ecosystem.

We are a seed-stage focused fund investing in everything from toC to DeepTech startups since 2018. I invest in healthcare, sustainability, and industrial AI.
Special Guest②: Takayuki Inagawa (Chief Innovation Evangelist, Product Marketing Division | NTT DOCOMO, Inc.)
Takayuki Inagawa has been in the telecommunications industry since 1995. He began his career at NTT DOCOMO in the technical domain, specializing in infrastructure design. Over time, he expanded his expertise to include procurement, international business, and human resources. He also pursued an MBA through an overseas study program.
In 2013, he was appointed President of DOCOMO Innovations, where he led a Silicon Valley-based team focused on strategic collaborations and investments in North American startups. In July 2016, he assumed the role of Executive Vice President at NTT DOCOMO Ventures and was later appointed President & CEO in June 2018. In this capacity, he spearheaded NTT Group’s corporate venture capital (CVC) initiatives, driving strategic investments and partnerships to foster innovation.
Since June 2021, as General Manager of the Innovation Management Department within NTT DOCOMO’s R&D Innovation Division, he has led the company’s overall innovation efforts. He has focused on driving new business creation and establishing frameworks to foster innovation within the organization, spearheading innovation across the DOCOMO Group. In July 2023, he transitioned into his current role, focusing on AI, Space and Web3.

スペシャルゲスト②: 稲川尚之氏（プロダクトマーケティング本部 チーフ イノベーション エバンジェリスト | 株式会社NTTドコモ）
NTTドコモ入社後、インフラ設計といった技術畑からキャリアをスタートさせ、資材調達や国際ビジネス、人事なども担当。MBA取得のための海外留学を経験し、2013年にドコモイノベーションズの社長に就任。シリコンバレーで北米におけるベンチャー企業との連携・出資のチームを率いる。
2016年7月からNTTドコモ・ベンチャーズ副社長、また2018年6月から同社代表取締役社長に就任し、NTTグループのCVCとしてベンチャー投資・協業の実績を積む。
2021年6月よりNTTドコモ R&Dイノベーション本部のイノベーション統括部長に就任し、企業内のイノベーションを推進するべく新規事業創出およびその仕組みづくりに力を注ぎ、ドコモグループのイノベーション全般を牽引。
2022年4月より静岡大学客員教授に就任。_2023年7月からは、AI、宇宙、Web3の領域を中心にオープンイノベーションを推進する活動に力を注いでいる。
