Buntzen Lake and Diez Vistas Hike

​Join VanCity Connect for an adventurous day at Buntzen Lake and the Diez Vistas Trail. This scenic loop takes you through lush forests, along sparkling lake shores, and up to stunning viewpoints overlooking Indian Arm and the surrounding mountains.

​The hike is approximately 15 km and rated intermediate, with steady elevation gain that rewards you with incredible views and photo opportunities. Expect a full day of adventure with a mix of peaceful lake strolls and challenging uphill sections. Please bring comfortable hiking shoes or boots, plenty of water, snacks or lunch, and dress in layers as the weather can change quickly.

​ Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are also recommended. Carpooling options may be available, so let us know if you can drive or need a ride. This hike is best suited for those comfortable with longer distances and uneven terrain.
