Ligare returns to Catan: New Roads + Same Spirit
Ligare returns to the island
We design nights where strangers stop feeling like strangers.
No apps. No awkward badge-swiping. Just shared play, a seat chosen for you on purpose, and whatever drink you feel like ordering once you’re settled.
After two side quests into new games and new chaos, we’re heading back to where it all began: Catan, re-imagined as a tool for connection.
Whether you’re building your third city or trading sheep for the first time—there’s room for you at the table.
If you’ve joined us for Catan before, bring that energy. If you’re new, this is the night that made us who we are.
How the night flows
Act 1 – Spark Warm-Ups (~45 min)
As you arrive, low-stakes party games hit the tables—think Sushi Go! or Wavelength with a Ligare twist. No rule lecture, no pressure. Just sit, sip whatever you pick up at the bar, and start connecting.
Act 2 – Catan: Trade, Build, Connect (~1 hr 15 min)
At your hand-matched table, we dive into Catan—but not the kind that ends in grudges.
We’ve reworked the teach-through, refreshed Spark Cards, and tuned the pacing so strategy and conversation keep flowing.
Act 3 – The Deep Cut
When the dice stop rolling, conversation keeps going. We bring out deeper-cut question card games to open things up—at your table or across the room. Stay for one more glass and follow the thread.
