ABOUT THE SESSION
In this session, Ploi and Bo will discuss:
How language in all forms is a critical tool for creating our realities and the technologies we then create,
As well as what it means to have a ‘dominant language’ that speaks for many of the technologies we rely on or look towards for answers and what those implications are.
If together we can look and utilize language as the active tool that it is, then there is potential for us to determine what our relationships with these technologies can and could be and how we want to use them.
Join us as we ask the questions to form new framing, notions, and maybe even words, around what AI is and how it could better serve us.

ABOUT THE HOST
Bo is happily all over the place; she does not fit into a singular space. Her Spirit tells her reality does not work that way, and any system that pushes such a constraint is one she actively rejects.
Yet with no professional title to wear as a cloak of identity, Bo is still actively working — working as a critic, an investigator, a connector, and a builder. These personas, as you might call them, have allowed her to hone her craft at writing, develop a passion for research, and create strategies for brands in various industries.
Bo mines and digs until she unearths connective tissues, exploring how every “thing” under its respective system(s), influences, mirrors, refracts, and dominates each other. For her, everything is intertwined; everything dictates the realities we choose to participate in and how.
At her very core, Bo wants to create realities that sustain the collective, especially those who are perpetually disregarded, underserved, and overworked. Her vision of a “positive” future requires an immediate present where people (and things) are given their space to simply exist without measures. She is idealistic, yet honest about our realities. She understands the labor required to create realities for the global majority, shaped by the global majority. Her passions? Overthinking and sharing her thoughts (attempting at least) via a newsletter.
She’s currently busy — creating Cxlture Vxlture, her professional persona and sphere, which will house her critical work and ideologies — as well as opening herself up to collaborations with fellow worldbuilders who dream and live vividly.
