About Event

The Knowledge Society (TKS) is a 10 month program for teenagers who want to make a dent in the universe. They learn the mindsets and skill sets needed to build projects and make an impact. Alumni have gone on to raise millions of dollars for their own startups, been some of the youngest hires at companies like Tesla, and made scientific breakthroughs in university research labs.

TKS Activate, our 2nd year program, is for a select group of top performing students. These kids are brilliant, charismatic, and will give you a sense of who will become the next generation of global leaders.

Here are some of the projects Activate students are working on:

  • AI-powered plushies designed to support teen mental health.

  • A productivity tool for researchers that uses AI to simplify data navigation and accelerate drug discovery.

  • A nutritional alternative to Ensure, formulated to better meet the needs of cancer patients.

  • An AI system that helps grocery stores reduce food waste by optimizing inventory—or possibly pivoting to automate vendor due diligence.

  • Developing low-cost, durable radiation shielding for the next generation of space tech and explorers.

  • A sustainable launch vehicle designed to make space more accessible by delivering small payloads to Low Earth Orbit.

  • Designing proteins to improve the accuracy of DNA replication.

  • Plus many others!

Demo Day is the culmination of a years’ work, where students are excited to showcase their projects to industry leaders, mentors, and distinguished guests. This event will feature a combination of spotlight speakers, networking zones, and project showcasing.

  • When: Wednesday, June 4th from 7:00-9:00p ET.

  • What to Expect: Student presentations, demo boards, networking zones, and a ton of fun!

  • Who to bring: If you have someone in your network who would love TKS, be a great mentor, or who is interested in being a part of the next generation of cutting edge innovation, send them this invite and encourage them to join.

We’re excited to bring people together and share the top projects that TKS students have worked on this year!
