About the speaker :
Sunny Paresh Kabrawala, Founder of STAR- Space Technology and Aeronautical Rocketry envisions democratising space education. With over five years of experience, STAR works on project-based learning and hands-on experience in space technologies. Their mission is to turn emerging space pioneers into reality with action learning.
STAR is also working on making Small Satellite and Launch Vehicles, through a private rocket company - STAR Orbitals, that develops launch vehicles to launch small satellites into Low Earth orbit and beyond. They’ve already designed and developed Phoenix which is an 18-metre reusable small satellite launch vehicle.
STAR has achieved significant milestones in democratising space education, conducting over 60 launches and reaching 12,000 students. With over 150 workshops and 600 interns trained, STAR provides extensive hands-on learning opportunities. It has also forged 40 collaborations to expand its impact.
