Join us for a cultural coffee experience!

Immerse yourself in the rich history and tradition of SWANA/Armenian coffee at New Heights Coffee Roasters in the Asch Building for a free demonstration led by Ani Carla, a multigenerational coffee reading master and energy healing artist, in collaboration with the Houston Coffee Collective.

Learn how to craft finely ground coffee, slowly brewed in an heirloom copper pot. Savor the exquisite flavors and aromas of this method and Ani Carla’s signature flavors with beans generously provided by New Heights Coffee Roasters. Unveil the secrets of coffee cup reading as a form of divination. Explore the ritualistic aspects of coffee preparation and consumption in self-care and planetary well-being.

*Ani Carla will then host individual coffee readings in the vintage shop from 11:30am-2:00pm. 10-15 minutes for $45 as part of her regular pop-up every 3rd Sunday of the month. Walk-in friendly.
