About Event

Researchers are knowledge creators.

We consume knowledge, we play with knowledge, we experiment and generate new knowledge. So, knowledge management is not only a need but a MUST for any researcher. Yet, we talk so little about it.

Well, not anymore...

In the month of June we will be exploring the difference between notes to self and notes to others. What difference does it make to write one or the other!?

June 5th - Twitter Spaces (Zettelkasten)

Every researcher wants to be like Niklas Luhmann in one aspect: a prolific researcher. Luhmann used his Zettelkasten method to publish a series of books and research articles. Join me and Bob Doto as we discuss the how's and why's of Luhmann's Zettelkasten at this Twitter Spaces.

June 12th - Twitter Spaces (Atomic Essays)

Did you know that atomic notes and atomic essays are not all 'the same thing'? Both can live in your note making system and grow from each other (or on their own). Join me and Ev Chapman as we discuss what an atomic essay is and how to take best advantage of it for research.

June 19th - TfT Onboarding: Memex Garden (Recorded Broadcast)

What is your Tool for Thought? With so many tools in the market it is hard to know which ones best suit our intended mindset.

So, in this new TfT Onboarding series I am sharing with you pre-recorded onboarding sessions for different tools in the market. In this first episode we have a call with Oliver Sauter from Memex Garden. Join us if you want to learn more.

June 26th - Twitter Spaces (Notes to Self versus Notes to Others)

How do you write your notes? Are they written with you as an audience? Are they written for others? How does it impact in your knowledge creation? Join me and Guía Carmona as we close the month with a chat about how notes can support your creative expression.
