​Join us for "Git Started – An Introduction to Git," a beginner-friendly workshop designed to introduce you to the essentials of Git and version control. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!

​What you'll learn

​- Git basics (tracking changes, branching, cloning, etc.)
- Using essential commands (git init, git add, git commit, etc.)
- Introduction to GitHub

​Target Audience

​- Beginners in version control
- Anyone interested

• ​Laptop

• ​Git --> Installation Guide

• ​GitHub account --> Sign In

• ​Text editor of your choice (e.g.: VS Code)

• ​6:30pm - 7:30pm Introduction to git & basic commands

• ​7:30pm - 8:00pm Short break to grab snacks & drinks

• ​8:00pm - 8:40pm DEMO + Q&A

• ​8:40pm - 9:30pm Open to socialising
