'Purpose' Documentary Screening
📍 Join Climate Concierge and PNW Climate Week for a special screening of Purpose, a film chronicling two years in the lives of two political economists, as they embark on ambitious political projects to move our societies towards a long-term wellbeing economy for all. They struggle, fail, pick themselves up again — and forge a path that may change our future.
Following the film, stay for a facilitated conversation designed to spark cross-sector insight and local action, with space for business leaders, policymakers, and innovators to reflect on how these ideas apply in our own region.

🍿Synopsis: Housing shortage, food crisis, energy crisis... our world seems to be on the brink of collapse. Those who want to improve things are trying to effect a little bit of change here or there. But how can we succeed if all the other crises keep happening at the same time?
Katherine Trebeck is fighting for an alliance of countries whose economies refocus on what really matters for people and planet. Lorenzo Fioramonti takes the same ideas deep into politics, becoming a minister in the Italian government. Some of their ideas work, others fail. We can learn from their courage, perseverance and clear vision — especially now, when everything seems to be in question.
