About Event

First-time founders usually struggle to pitch their startups to Angels & VCs. As part of the CMU T&E Startup School event series, this panel event provides future founders a guide to pitching successfully to investors.

About the Panel Speakers:

  1. Ed Engler (https://www.linkedin.com/in/eengler/) is a Managing Partner at Pittsburgh Equity Partners and Senior Coach at Aspire360. He is also a Director at Mechanical X Advantage, Honeycomb Credit and Thrive. He also serves on the Board of Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, is an advisor to Alpha Lab & a charter member of the Pittsburgh chapter of TiE. Outside of his roles, he is a sponsor for Swartz Center and graduated from CMU in 1986.

  2. Vikram Chatterji, (https://www.linkedin.com/in/vikram-chatterji/) is a Co-Founder at Galileo and an advisor to CMU T&E community. Before Co-founding Galileo, he was a Product Lead for Cloud AI at Google. a mentor at Alchemist Accelerator and Head of Product at Premise Data. He graduated with an MS from SCS at CMU in 2011.

  3. Eleanor Haglund (https://www.linkedin.com/in/eleanor-haglund/) is the Founder & CEO of Aspire 360. Before founding Aspire 360, she was the Founder & Lead Coach at Hermes Speaks and Founder & CEO of Halo Mountain. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from CMU.

  • Karl Thomas (https://www.linkedin.com/in/karlathomas/) is a Partner & Co-Founder of Stealth Venture Capital Firm and Owner & President of 5711 Consulting. In the past, he was an Account Executive with Innotescus & advised Zensors on Customer Success & Strategy. He was also an Associate Director of Development at CMU and graduated with BS from CMU in 1994.
