​Diversity VC Toolkit Launch - DEI for Founder Engagement

​3 years ago, we launched the first ever Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) framework that was purpose built for Venture Capital.

​At the time, almost no funds had DEI policies in place. We’ve since certified nearly 100 VC funds from all corners of the world, and the industry is ready for the next step.

​The existing Standard is a diagnostic tool. We audit a fund’s current practice, and level them based on our research-backed Standard Levels, and their VC peers.

​We now need to move past diagnosis, and deeper into solutions. Our Founder Engagement toolkit provides funds with detailed advice and guidance as to how they can continually evolve their inclusive practices.

​Alongside the best practice advice we have included case studies from our Member funds, demonstrating how these recommendations can be adopted. We know there is no one-size-fits-all option for VCs, so the toolkit is intended to showcase advice and examples knowing that each VC will adapt according to their level of growing maturity within this DE&I space.
