Founders Friday (7/5): Katharine Lau of Stuf
This Friday morning, (7/5), we’re sitting down with Katharine Lau, Co-founder & CEO of Stuf (>$11M raised from Altos Ventures, Allegion Ventures, Harlem Capital, and Wilshire Lane Capital). Recognized by Fast Company as one of The World’s Most Innovative Companies in 2022, Stuf is a next-generation self-storage startup, providing modern, technology-driven storage solutions for individuals and businesses across various cities in the U.S.
Stuf is revolutionizing the $48B self storage industry, partnering with real estate owners to efficiently convert underused basements, garages, and other commercial building spaces into inviting, tech-enabled storage areas powered by ‘hospitality-inspired service’. Stuf now operates nearly 30 locations across the country, five of which are in New York City.
Katharine is dedicated to transforming the way consumers interact with physical spaces. Before establishing Stuf, Lau was instrumental in expanding supply at Industrious, a leading provider of premium shared workspaces in the U.S.
This event is open-invite; the fireside will start promptly at 8:45am, and conclude at 9:30am. Doors open at 8:30.
Grab a coffee and a croissant, come down to the office, and begin your morning with Katharine and Sherveen as they discuss her ambitious founding journey.
