Make Dating Apps Useful Again
MAKE DATING APPS USEFUL AGAIN is a movement.
We work for a nonpartisan group called futurevoice, and our goal is to use digital media and ads to galvanize voters under the age of 30. We're trying something a ~little~ differently.
We're tapping into your peer-to-peer conversations on dating apps to include discussions on civic engagement and documenting our process on TikTok.
Come meet us at The Semi-Tropic! Timeline of the night is as follows:
6:00pm Check in and enjoy free drinks/apps while we stream the VP DEBATE!
7:00pm: HOW TO presentation (led by futurevoice, Georgia Bridgers and Madi Hart)
7-9:00pm: get your dating apps set up! futurevoice and collaborators who have already done this will be around for questions and brainstorming.
The Goal of the night:
Chatting with matches on Hinge/Tinder/Grindr/Bumble about voting.
Starting to document your process via TikTok video (we'll help you! No prior experience necessary!)
Friends welcome, as long as they're ready to fire up their dating apps.
