EACMF Workshop. How to effectively identify and screen carbon projects with modern tech

​This practical workshop by Olya Grovel, Chief Growth Officer of MRV platform Orbify, is divided into three parts.

The first part focuses on understanding satellite data utilization providing insights into how remote sensing and satellite data can be pivotal in assessing the feasibility of carbon projects, setting a solid foundation before diving into the Project Design Document (PDD) phase.

The second part focuses on a comparative analysis of REDD+ vs ARR Projects. It zooms into the critical differences in assessing the feasibility of REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) versus ARR (Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation) projects. This segment will cover essential aspects for consideration to align with specific project goals.

The last part of the workshop is about navigating data accuracy and parameters. It explore the nuances of satellite data, including accuracy, reliability, and other vital parameters. This knowledge is crucial for making informed decisions and ensuring the success of your carbon projects.
