About Event

Join the NYCDGA in maintaining the disc golf course in Highland Park! Our focus will be:

Removing identified invasive plants (like Japanese Knotweed and Multiflora Rose).
Collecting trash from the fairways and surrounding rough.
Relocating plant debris to the designated compost pile/away from the field of play.
And to play a round of disc golf!

Tools, Sunscreen, and Water, will be provided. We recommend wearing long pants or tall sock to protect against poison ivy. An invasive plant identification demonstration will happen at the beginning of the day to help prevent the removal of native plants and to educate/remind you of the visual characteristics of poison ivy.
