About Event

Forms of Life is a philosophical and artistic exhibition that explores the evolving landscape of social forms shaping our communities and collective well-being.

Created by researcher Toby Shorin and artist and theologian Mati Engel, and hosted by Baukunst, the exhibition invites visitors to consider the spaces, practices, and technologies that are redefining how we gather, heal, and find meaning in an age of profound change.

This exhibition explores Centers: physical sites of connection and healing. From immersive saunas to mind-body centers, retreats modeled after ancient Grecian sleep temples to neighborly co-parenting centers, social leaders today are envisioning new units of collectivity grounded in place.

We invite community builders, wellness practitioners, technologists, and spiritual leaders to explore the historical lineages, design principles, and transformative potential of each form.
