Amplify & Elevate Innovation: AI in Education Symposium in Partnership with the University at Albany

Join us for this premier professional development event designed to empower educators and  leaders in leveraging AI to create equitable, innovative, and future-ready school systems.

This symposium is built around three key pillars:

  • Building Understanding – Foundational AI literacy, ethics, and district-level policy considerations.

  • Fostering Transformation – Practical strategies to integrate AI in leadership and instruction.

  • Empowering Action – Hands-on AI tool creation, policy planning, and sustainable implementation strategies.

Symposium Agenda:

July 8th: Evening Networking Reception

  • Kick-off the AI Symposium with networking, thought leadership discussions, and an introduction to the symposium’s objectives.

  • Light dinner and beverages will be served.

July 9th: Foundation & Ideation (Day 1)

  • Opening Keynote – AI’s role in education and systemic transformation

  • AI Literacy & District Policy Analysis – Understanding AI concepts, district policies, and leadership strategies

  • Data Privacy & Ethical AI Use – Ensuring responsible and transparent AI adoption

  • Harnessing AI for Learning – Panel discussion on AI’s impact on instructional equity and student success

July 10th: Action & Implementation (Day 2)

  • Scaling Instructional Coaching with AI – Leveraging AI tools for teacher support and feedback

  • Voice AI for Human Connection – Enhancing professional development and communication

  • Designing Educator AI Tools – Hands-on AI tool creation for district-specific needs

  • Optimizing Funding Through AI – Using AI for grant writing and financial sustainability

  • Closing Reflection & Next Steps – Action planning and future collaboration opportunities
