Get Unstuck with Metaphors of Movement
Lab X Presents: Get Unstuck with Metaphors of Movement, led by Mark Andreas
When we feel stuck, it’s tempting to fixate on emotions or search for logical solutions. But often, what holds us back lives in language—in the metaphors we unconsciously use to describe our situation. This session offers a radically different approach: by exploring how we speak about our creative challenges, we uncover powerful metaphors that can illuminate new paths forward.
This workshop is for you if you’re...
🌀 Trying to solve a recurring creative block with no success
🌀 Overthinking your “next step” and unsure why you feel stuck
🌀 Using metaphors like “spinning wheels” or “hitting a wall” without realizing their impact
🌀 Craving a new perspective on your process that isn’t rooted in logic
🌀 Interested in a more visual, experiential approach to personal insight
What to Expect
Metaphors of Movement is a 2-hour live virtual session guided by Mark Andreas.
Through metaphor-based coaching and guided reflection, you’ll explore:
How to surface unconscious metaphors that shape your current challenge
How to describe your stuckness in simple, visual language
How to uncover hidden dynamics by “listening” to what the metaphor reveals
How to gain clarity without overanalyzing or fixing
How to explore more effective paths forward through metaphorical alignment
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of where you are creatively, and what changes might actually make a difference.
This session is open to all and designed to meet you exactly where you are—no prior experience with metaphor work or NLP is necessary.
