Discovery workshop: How am I relating to shame?
Shame can hugely impact the way we show up in the world — for some it happens quietly, beneath the surface; in others, shame shows up very openly. More often than not, shame is giving us other unpleasant feelings and sensations, and living with them can be challenging.
What are we going to do?
In this interactive discovery workshop, we’ll explore how shame lives in us and how we relate to it, with curiosity and care.
We’ll safely and creatively externalize and examine the inner critics, stories, or patterns that are influencing us daily.
How so?
We will be working in pairs and small groups to make things engaging and effective. We will be talking, writing and yes, do some drawing which requires no special skills at all - promise!
This session offers:
A gentle, creative way to make the invisible visible
A space of safety and shared humanity around difficult feelings
Tools to recognize and transform limiting inner narratives
Connection with others walking a similar path
Come as you are. All emotions welcome. We'll meet them together.
This workshop will be facilitated by Jana. She is a facilitator, a dancer and an overall reasonably crazy person. She is very friendly and doesn't bite.
