All of us: Exhibition and Book launch
Exhibition and Book Launch: All of Us
On Migration, Building Connection, and Collective Care.
Migrants in Action (MinA) and King's College London (Prof. Cathy McIlwaine) invite for the launch of All of Us, an exhibition and a book that bring together the voices, images, and experiences of 22 migrant and migrant-heritage women from 10 different countries across the Global Majority, living in London.
Developed through participatory and embodied arts sessions - including drama games, photovoice, poetry, banner-making, and storytelling - All of Us reflects on themes of migration, belonging, joy as resistance, and the everyday acts of care that connect us.
Born from the Imaging Resistance project — a collaboration between King’s College London, The Visual and Embodied Methodologies Network (VEM), and MinA - the event celebrates what becomes possible when we create together, across borders, languages, and life journeys.
The evening will feature the launch of All of Us — both an exhibition and a book — with a book signing, live performances and time to explore the artworks, followed by a celebratory reception honouring the contributions of migrant women.
The All of Us exhibition will be open to the public from the 20th until 30th August 2025. Check out Brixton house website for opening hours: https://brixtonhouse.co.uk/your-visit/
