About Event

This first Web3WonderWomen Founders Edition will kick off with a public, online Fireside Chat with seasoned operator and investor, Kirthiga Reddy. 

Kirthiga is the Founder and CEO of Virtualness, a mobile-first platform making web3 accessible for creators, brands and the sports, media and entertainment industry. She has held many other roles prior to Virtualness including being Managing Director of Facebook India and South Asia. 

We will hear about her journey building and scaling large products and companies, her journey into Web3, as well as probe into the differences of scaling in Web2 vs Web3.

About The Speaker & Mentor: 

Kirthiga Reddy is CEO, Virtualness, a mobile-first platform making web3 accessible for creators, brands and the sports, media and entertainment industry. She is co-founder, Laddrr, a social impact initiative focused on changing the landscape for working women and stepping up the careers of ten million moms.

Previously, she was the first female Investment Partner at SoftBank Investment Advisers (SBIA), manager of the $130B+ SoftBank Vision Fund. Her focus was frontier, enterprise and health tech investments. She co-founded f7 Ventures Seed Fund. She has also held the role of Managing Director, Facebook India, and South Asia, for over six years, starting as their first employee in India; and served as Chair, Stanford Business School Management Board.

She holds an MBA from Stanford University, where she graduated with highest honors as an Arjay Miller Scholar, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a B.E. in Computer Science from Marathwada University, India. She has been recognized as Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business” and Fortune India’s “Most Powerful Women” amongst other recognitions.
