The event will feature a talk by Dr. Ilya A. Strebulaev on the current state of venture capital, followed by a book signing.
Dr. Ilya A. Strebulaev is the David S. Lobel Professor of Private Equity and Professor of Finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. An expert in corporate finance, venture capital, innovation financing, and financial decision-making, he is the founder and director of the Stanford GSB Venture Capital Initiative. Dr. Strebulaev teaches in the MBA, PhD, and executive education programs and has received numerous awards, including the MBA Distinguished Teaching Award and the Sloan Award for Teaching Excellence at Stanford.
Alex Dang is a CEO, a senior technology executive, and an advisor on innovation and digital strategy. He has two decades of senior leadership as a Partner at McKinsey and Ernst & Young, and as a product leader at Amazon, where he designed and launched numerous new businesses and solutions for millions of customers across ecommerce, supply chain, and AI. He graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
