System Work Level 1

​Overview

​This is a 3-day course for individuals and leaders to better understand themselves and how they show up in their human systems.

​This underlying premise of this course is that with enough distinctions, you’d be able to find the how. That is, the course equips you with an understanding of the core elements related to human systems so that you can devise the how-to for your own team and company.

​Topics

• ​A scalable model to understand a (human) system:

  • ​Learn a practical framework for observing and interpreting human systems at different scales.

• ​Language and Speech Acts:

  • ​Explore how language shapes reality, relationships, and the actions we take.

• ​Awareness of Self and Systems:

  • ​Develop awareness of your internal states and their influence on the systems around you.

• ​Emotional Literacy:

  • ​Build the ability to accurately identify, name, and work with your own emotional experience.

• ​Somatic Literacy:

  • ​Increase your capacity to recognize and interpret the body's signals as part of your leadership presence and decision-making.

• ​Learning and Boundary Management:

  • ​Strengthen your skills in managing the boundary between self and others, and between current competence and growth.

• ​Trust and Influence:

  • ​Understand the core elements on which trust is built and maintained, and how to responsibly use influence in complex environments.

​About the System Work Progam

​System Work (Level) 1 is part of a broader System Work program, which includes both Level 1 and Level 2. While Level 1 is not a strict prerequisite for Level 2, we highly recommend starting here. Level 2 builds on these foundations and dives deeper into the dynamics of system complexity. Beginning with Level 1 will make your experience in Level 2 richer, more grounded, and much easier to navigate.
