About Event

We believe that there is the potential for Southeast Asia to become the next Silicon Valley. However the fruition of this future is dependent on aspiring founders today to create it. Aspiring founders need to become current founders who build a network of founders among themselves in each country and the region as a whole.

Therefore we hope that by hosting this series of events we can be the starting point for aspiring founders to become actual founders and enable them to pull the region's potential into reality.

About Our Speakers

The speakers for this event are Jessy co-founder of Zi.Care and Serano co-founder of Duoria. They are both from Indonesia and are more than happy to share their experience and answer question from aspiring founders on how to navigate the startup life, and share pieces of advice on what they've learned along the way.

Jessy Abdurrahman - Co-Founder of Zi.Care

Jessy is one of three co-founders at Zi.Care as well as the CEO. Zi.Care is an Indonesian health-tech company digitising medical records (hospitals, clinics, doctors, patients) which today are done manually by 80% of hospitals. Zi.Care is the first Indonesian company to have enabled stage 7 EMR Adoption Model by HIMSS, and is currently working with 90 hospitals and has officially partnered with the Indonesian Hospital Association.

Serano Tannason Ng - Co-Founder of Duoria

Is a recent graduate from the University of Oxford and Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Computer Science & Robotics. He was co-founder of Duoria, the Pinduoduo for experiences, which he started after being a software engineer intern at Microsoft. Duoria allowed you to receive discounts and win free meals by partcipating in groups buys, with merchants like Starbucks, Kenoko Spa, KOI and Xcape.
