Stitch Club: Visible Mending
Join us in the studio for a tender evening of stitching, mending and conversation<3 All levels welcome, with an optional beginner mending lesson to kick off the evening if you’re just starting out!
The tunes will be bumping, sips + conversation flowing. Beginners lesson will include a needle and embroidery floss. A perfect way to spend a cold winter evening creating alongside other humans. See you there!!
Beginner Lesson + Support (Optional!) :
6:30-7:30pm EST
We'll cover making patches and sewing visible lines as a means of mending holes in denim. Please bring a denim piece with a hole you would like to patch! We'll have a variety of denim and cotton option to patch with, but feel free to bring your own material.
This ticket price includes all materials needed to learn, a lesson + entry to stitch club! Pls note that we will begin the lesson promptly at 6:35pm, and doors will close at 6:45pm! Please do your best to arrive by 6pm so you can settle in and get all the info you need to be successful :)

What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friends apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes at the discretion of RecCreate Collective.
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
