Emergent Ventures one year anniversary [Final day]

​Summary The goal of the EV “reunion” is to create space and focused time for the incredible group who met last year to once again motivate and inspire one another through cross pollinating ideas. The outcome will prioritize creating discussion and exchange, rather than one-way “talks”. EV “reunion” is a focused week of remote events, during which EV grantees can present updates on their grant projects, or new pursuits.

​Structure The “event” week will focus on having three days during which sessions can take place, with a few recommended times. Sessions can be live presentations of material, and discussion, or the discussion around pre-recorded/written material, which is shared before. Time slots are broken up to offer a variety of short and long talk/discussions. This is meant to reduce Zoom fatigue, and mix up the presentation formats.

​Open/closed? The “event” will be structured such that presenters can decide whether their groups will be open to non-EV participants or closed. The kick off “event” will be focused on only EV participants, and the first day will be allotted to EV participants only.
