Virtual - Growing the Heart of Practice: A Happy Fundraiser for Mountain Stream

​Join us for a special half-day retreat with esteemed Dharma teachers Gil Fronsdal and John Travis. This gathering is a rare opportunity to practice with two deeply rooted elders of the Insight tradition, whose decades-long friendship has helped shape the Dharma in our region.

​The morning will include a period of silent meditation, a Dharma talk from Gil exploring early Pali Canon teachings on bhāvanā (cultivation), the arc of growth on the path, and the liberating process of shedding rather than accumulating. We’ll conclude with a conversation and Q&A between Gil and John on the unfolding of practice over time.

​This event is a fundraiser for Mountain Stream Meditation. As a small, community-supported sangha, Mountain Stream relies on the generosity of practitioners like you to sustain our offerings and keep the Dharma alive and accessible for all. Your donations will directly support the ongoing work of our sangha.

​There is no set fee, but registration is required. There will be an opportunity to make a contribution during the fundraiser, donations may be offered by credit card, check, or cash.
