JAM, Join-Accumulate Machine, described in the Gray Paper, presents a revolutionary decentralized hybrid system, offering smart-contract functionality by combining elements of both Polkadot and Ethereum.
THE WORLD TOUR.
In a world tour comprised of visits to world-renowned universities, Dr. Gavin Wood aims to introduce and bring JAM, the computational model, to academia and blockchain enthusiasts, by providing face-to-face explanations of the Gray Paper underpinned by engaging discussions.

DR. GAVIN WOOD BIO.
Computers fascinated Gavin Wood since he was a child. This fascination combined with deep technical knowledge and visionary thinking eventually led him to become one of the most impactful figures in the blockchain space. Dr. Gavin Wood co-founded Ethereum and the Polkadot blockchain ecosystems. His contributions furthermore include setting up EthCore (now Parity Technologies) and bringing the Web3 Foundation to life, which has so far supported hundreds of projects with its grants.
